With a few rumors flying (at least down here in South Florida) about Bussin' 11 being under new management, I decided to post this information.
Bussin' 11 will be a Southeast Cruisers rally hosted by Jack & Paula Conrad and held at the Turner Center in Arcadia, Florida from December 29, 2010 through January 1, 2011, with early arrivals OK beginning on December 26, 2010. Rally format will be very similar to Bussin' 10.
Because the Turner Center is tentatively already reserved for a RV Rally December 26 through January 1, 2012, Bussin' 12 may be held at a different location which will be determined at a later date. For information on Bussin' 11 or Bussin' 12 contact Jack or Paula Conrad. Home phone 863-993-3683 or cell phones (Jack) 832-444-3400 or (Paula) 863-444-3399

Well. The bad vibes have already started on the BCM board, so I'll start them over here.

It's one thing to think you can put on a better show than some one else, but to try to usurp a long standing date and location in your attempt to do so is pretty bad.

I don't know much about Ace except what I've seen transpire on these two boards, but I expect there is going to be some serious backlash over this situation.

Hopefully, Ace will come to his senses and move his event to a date several months away from Jack's.

BOB : I agree with you 100%. I have enjoyed the
ralleys that Jack and Paula have put on for many years. Those dates have become a tradition with
my wife and I. I think that what Ace is trying to
do is DAM disgrace.

I did not plan for this thread to become a "who likes who" contest. I just wanted to provide the contact information for all of the rallies mentioned. Obviously, I would rather had Ace pick a different date and location, but I can work around that if neccessary. Jack

There are so few of us nuts it is not a good thing to start a family argument over a little thing like who has the right to dates.

Jack has already offered to compromise, to his everlasting credit. That should nip this thing in the bud before it gets off the ground!

No reason not to be one big happy family.

No need for this to develop into a small town church type squabble!

Apparently, there was a mis-communication between the Turnercenter, Ace, and I. Ace has not booked The Turner Center for December, 2011 and is not planning a rally at that time and location. Therefore, Bussin 12 will be held at The Turner Center.
Hopefully, Ace will still organize a rally, as we can always use more rallies. Jack

That is good news.

Given this new information, I extend my apologies to Ace for my original response.

Maybe the new gal at the TurnerCenter owes Jack and Ace an apology since she started this mis-understanding.
