Nope the ac was gone when i got her. The front window on the cap is also starting to come out also. Generaly how much does everyone raise there roofs??? I alomst think i want to go smooth roof but not sure. If I place roof airs then I want to duct them the length of the bus. I know that eagle's are great for slide out but that seems very expensive for what you get. Any comments or suggestions are great and welcome. |

Measure a stock Model 10 cap and see how many inches that cap will raise your roof. With your tall windshields I think it works out about right. The front window is just a piece of glass that has a bolt on each side. Tighten the bolts, see if that solves the problem. R&M makes an exact blank with no cutouts that looks nice for the rear. Keeps the newer coach look. Bob at Infinity installed one on one of his personal shop coachs a couple of years ago, looked great on an older coach. I don't know of anyone that mass manufactures a front cap for the 20 unless you raise the roof and use a 10 cap. That has been done, maybe one of those guys will tell you how many inches it took to absorb the tall glass and make it all look like a stock 10 from the front. |

Luvrbus - I don't think a 15 cap will work on a 20. The 15 cap tapers from a 102" body to 96" going forward. I believe that the 20 bus has a 96" body with mo 15 windshields in place. I believe that the 10 cap is more apt to fit. The caps that come from R & M can be ordered with a lot of extra tail to accomplish just about any height of roof raise. Happy Bussing everyone. ARTHUR |
