He's been nice and listed that one here in the classified, but without pictures. What a start!

What should something like this sell for?. but mostly what did this work cost roughly?. last and most puzzling to me is Why do all this, change your mind, and buy something else. at least now I don't feel like the only one confused about bus projects

George, I think that once the bug gets you, YOU want to hit the road quicker than what you planned and then you can enjoy the scenery. I wouldn't mind that coach at all if I didn't have 3 too many. LOL What a great job up to this point!!!

George, I'll bet you couldn't get a bus to that point for $100,000 if you had to hire it done. Not with all the reskin and aluminum and work that has gone into it. Holy Mackeral what a job.

From his responses to questions his reserve is about $50k. Wow, even at that price it is a good deal if the stretch and slides are done in a good workmanship manner.

I couldn't do all he's done for $50k even if all my labor was free. We don't put these projects together to make money, that's for sure.

For sure it looks good in those pictures.

I know this busnut with this bus for sale and have known him since I bought my bus 8 years ago. He was one of the first busnuts to ever contact me and we have not spoken now for some time and I feel bad that he has choosen to sell this bus. He does great work and I hope his health is fine etc. for his reason for giving up if that is what he is doing. Anyone getting this bus is surely getting a bargain, for the work he has done and saving anyone all the torment I have been working on for 7 years now and no where near the finished part of converting as Vern's bus.

If you are interested in a bus, don't let this one pass you up!!! I still can't believe it. Good luck to the lucky guy that gets this bus.

$35K "Buy it now" wouldn't even purchase the parts involved without all the labor.

Hi evry one ! I am the owner of the 01 Eagle on Ebay. Giving up ? No not really. My wife and I found a Marathon Prevost at WAY below todays market. It would be crazy to say no to a series 60, 6 speed never a bus MARATHON conversion with 100K miles. My wife and I would like to pass on our good fortune, both price wise and coach wise, as the same deal we got on our new coach. I have NO RESERVATIONS about the decision we made. As some one else had comemted, we just get to go traveling a lot sooner. I believe I could finish the Eagle in less that a year and a half. All the hard work is done. I am a little sad that I could not do the interior though as cabinet making is my forte. I will continue to work on her, even though business is brisk for me. I will certainly finish the shell in the next couple months and try again. Yes, the "goodies" that I will make available to the new owners will be nothing short of spectacular ! Yes, I will remain a "busnut". Vern and Joan Rainville Cell # 1.401.265.1056

Vern,
Congratulations on the "NEW" bus purchase and your opportunity to travel sooner and now be able to attend some of our rallies. I am personally really glad you are still with us and am sure your bus for sale is gonna make one busnut very happy when he sees all you did to your Eagle and all he will get. It is really good of you to "Pay It Forward" to someone else that will appreciate their find in your generosity.
Gary

Hi Vern,
Glad you cleared that up and are willing to share your Eagle Dream with it's new owner. I sure hope she finds a good home to make her stand tall!

Paul
