I believe that the series 40 is a detroit diesel, just smaller than the series 50. just my $.02 g | ||

Detroit Diesel Series 40 (2 models) they are actually International inline 6 cylinders engines (Navistars IIRC) 8.7L known as the International DT530 7.6L Known as the International DT466 Don't know what models these are - they say 250HP |
