what do you suppose the max air pressure an MCI Air tank will take found a new tank 25"x 7.5" which I think would fit nicely under my enclosed motorcycle trailer for "shop air" when away from home/the coach |

Most truck air systems have safety valve pop offs set between 125 PSI and 225 (that's what the aftermarket pop offs adjust to). Given that most air lines are rated for 250 while usually carrying 125, I would guess an MCI tank would have no trouble with 125-150. If you want to supercharge it (250) for more reserve you might get in trouble. Just guessing here, all pure conjecture and a bad cold talking. |

How high can your shop compressor pump? The attachments will rupture long before the tank will. Somewhere in the dark recesses of my head, 300 lbs is bobbing in the flotsam? You'd need to ask a tank manufacturer, or perhaps a Bendix rep, the coach folks won't know. happy coaching! buswarrior |

Oh yeah I just remembered that scuba tanks are the way to go for high pressure. |

I drag race motorcycles on the weekends and use nitrogen for tires and air shifter. Go to a welding supply and get a "90" bottle (scuba tank size)and a regulator. They are charged to 2500lbs or so and last a long time. Tank refills are around $20 bucks |
