Finding one that is. I am in the So. CA area and want to find a pit so I can do an inspection of all my air lines and things that hide under my bus. I have made some ramps but sure would be nice to use a pit for one time.

Nice looking bus.

Are you a band? I see 5 a/c's up top?

Is it an entertainer?

Smaller coach company should be willing to let you on the pit for a few bill$ to the foreman, when it is a quiet time. If the fleet is in the yard, it isn't quiet.

Larger place likely won't.

Absolutely no kids/pets running around, this isn't a recreational area, get in, get out.

happy coaching!

I always thought that year MC7 has just as much style as anything out there.

Nothing wrong with plenty of a/c we wouldn't leave home without it.

Great pit at the truck stop on the N side of the freeway exit in Fontana for the speedway.

Get the cheap grease job at night and tip the kids about $40 to sit on the pit for a couple of hours.

Must be talking about the ol' Cherry Street Truck Stop! Is that "dump" still in business? (Sorry no offense meant, but back when I got out of trucking that places was the last place I would go to out there < especially at night due to the # of shady & SLEAZY characters roaming about selling drugs and "other things")

But I also can remember "back in the day" when I used to stop in there on occasion (when I had time to kill) and pay for a chassis lube or brake adjustment late in the evening so I could go in the pit to do a quick visual inspection under the truck!

Nice pit, but unless the place has had a major change in "style" it's not a place I would go often! FWIW JMHO YMMV

Lol, been there and done that Bryce and lived to tell about it. We used to have a drop yard in Fontana, so we were in there more often than I wanted to be!

Cross the border into Mexico and the Pemex stations sometimes have a pit out back, usually don't even have to ask.
