Does anyone know where to find a bus cover? 45' X 102" X about 12' high. Tyvek or something inexpensive as I will only use it for about a year and be done with it. Vern

When I got one for my S&S these guys were about the best deal around. Not quite sure if they'll work for you but HTH.

Use caution when covering your coach. Most fabrics can be abrasive and might damage your paint job.

If you do decide to use a cover it is very important that the material is breathable and try to keep an air space between the coach and the fabric.
A shelter works better. Maybe you could use one and then sell it when you're done with it.
HTH, Iver.

Hi Iver, Thanx for the imput ! My choice would be a "Tyvek" cover. Light & breathable. Fabric sounds good, but an air space would be hard to maintain, since I will be using the coach every 3-4 weeks. I am open to suggestions though. Portable shelters will not work for me as I do not have much land. This will be a temporary solution until my other (project) Eagle is sold. Then I will be able to store indoors. Vern

Hi Vern,

For two years now, I have owned a cover made by: Calmark Custom Covers, phone eight 0 5 486 3863. It covers our '78 GMC Motorhome which is 26' in length and, made of fiberglass and aluminum. The material has not scarred the finish at all and, breathes exceptionally well. We are very pleased with the cover and recommend it highly. I believe the cost is in the $400 range although, we were fortunate to find this one at a GMC rally for somewhat less.

When necessary, I can install the cover by my lonesome but, more hands are better. One note of caution: insure the zipped door installation matches your coach.

The whole purpose of Tyvek is to stop air circulation in and out of house walls.

The various brands of infiltration barrier are the main reason for the amount of mold problems in newer homes. No air circulates inside the walls anymore, so once they get wet, they never dry out.

Not true. Tyvek and similar products are designed to breathe. Though they do keep air from infiltrating inward ,they do allow moiture to escape.

If you use a non breathing cover and park in the sun and have moisture under the cover I can guarantee some nice paint blisters on top of the bus.
