ahh, ok, thanks, wasn't aware it was a publication... i just assumed since it should have been given with each bus that it was free information. |

even something given for free is likely copywriten. But actually: parts and maint manuals would not have been given with each coach. they would have been ordered by the new owner. Operators manuals would have come with a new coach |

most importantly you will want the maint manual second the parts manual operators manual is not that helpful, but might explain a couple things you might not otherwise know without asking someone. |

To give you an idea of how much information is inside these manuals, each manual (service & parts) are standard 8 1/2 X 11 pages and about 2-2 1/4" thick. They are also now available on CD. Jack |

once you bus is old enough, maybe a kindly other bus nut will scan the whole thing and offer it up for free (like the 4104 manual). 'til them, you might have to bite the bullet, but no matter what it costs, you can't really care for an old bus without alot of info, and the manual/parts books really help....I mean really help...did I mention they really help. if it any help i can e you the 6-71 detroit diesel maintenance manual, not the same engine but a step in the right direction. |
