Mine is PD4104 040 so is from the 1st year of production. My manual (thanks Zimtok) is from later on in production. The wiring diagram does not match mine ...IE marker lights are on term., 1 in diagram, and term., 3 on my bus. I am in the middle of setting wiring right so any info appreciated

I have 4104-204...1953. I don't have time right now, but I'll check tonight. I have 2 '53 OEM service manuals & 1 parts manual.
Let's hope, eh??

Hi Patrick,

Sorry for the delay, but I fianlly got out to snag my manuals this AM. My early manual (May 1953) shows the marker light switch on terminal #1 as well. We're talking the panel at the driver's left, right? (guess I shoud say "eh" instead of right in this case). Sounds like the same to me??

My email is in my profile...maybe we could cross check some other terminals? I don't have a scanner, but I can access one and scan anything you'd like & get it to you if it will help.
I have Ski Patrol duty today so I won't be around, but tomorrow is a possibility.

Drop me an email if you would, unless the rest of you want to see how this unfolds.

Take care...

Jamo

yeah it's weird Dallas's manual as well. The wiring I'm looking at has not been moved in 57 years by the look of it. I will do more exploring of the other terminals.

One last try, Jamo, since you have the oldest manual I have sourced, would you mind checking your manual and seeing what terminal the temp gauge is on in the front panel (by the drivers seat). Thanks tons
