Ho, BusNuts,
Helping a friend with his TwinCoach Transmission. It is a Spicer Dana Model 5852, which is
a five speed synchromesh single countershaft unit mounted to a Cummins 504 V-8. (He
has two of them, but may need some additional parts).
Does anyone have a service manual, parts manual, (or source) for this unit to borrow/ buy/ copy?
Can anyone advise the steps and sequence to remove and disassemble the mainshaft
and countershaft. We have plenty of equipment, and pretty good skills, but the methods
needed on this Spicer are new to us.
