The State has come up with some budget, so I've been hired to fly for the Forest Service down in eastern NC for "fire season" -- here that's until the end of May. That's good - a little structure in an old, grey haired retired guy's life, a mental challenge, somebody else paying for my flying time, some $$ coming in, etc. - but my bus is up in the middle part of the state. Since the hours are long and we work weekends, there's little (actually *no*) chance to work on the bus. But you've all provided me with the "Bus Fix" over the past few weeks (as well as a the usual entertainment and information). Thanks a lot; and good bussin'! I'll be tossing the tools again in a few weeks. BH, NC USA | ||

Welcome bruce. Have a friend that did or does fly for the forest service in western nc. Last time i talked to him his plane was broke and they did not have the money to fix. It is sitting at the Hickory airport now.And i think he is in Turkey flying their plane.
