With enough time and money you can do just about anything. The question becomes, "Why would you want to do such a thing?" Since the 4104 series has traveled a bazillion miles without any real braking problems I think you are trying to reinvent the wheel. I know that the heavier coaches like the H3-45 has had some real problems with their disc brakes. Things like rotors getting so hot they explode. Additionally, air disc brakes tend to need brake service more often at a cost of 3X-5X more than conventional 'S'-cam air brakes. Good luck and happy trails. Mark O. |
