In a 73 mc7 where might the auxiliary fuel tank be? The plaque states we have one but after coasting to a humbling experience on the side of the road it is quite clear that it is at the VERY LEAST not hooked up..

If you have the tank, it is in the first baggage bay. It is in a large box, in the center, against the rear bulkhead. You can't miss it. It does not act like a reserve tank. It gravity feeds the primary tank, so it goes down at the same time as your primary tank. Hope that helps!
