I looked at the pictures of the bus. I think I'm gonna be sick.
Sad to see that done to a scenicruiser.

I've been through the bus in person and believe me it was this man's passion. He was a bus guy through and through and even though it's not everyones cup of tea there is not a nut or bolt out of place on anything he worked on. That being said, there are a lot of us who wouldn't do that to a 4501, but then I don't like fiberglass caps on any of the old buffalos either. To each his own.

There was another Scenicruiser that someone redid to look like a motor home. I have a pic of it on the cover of a short lived bus magazine. Maybe i can find it and scan it. It looked great but not as good as an original unit does.

David may not be the same 4501 but I have photos of a blue and gold one belonged to a boat racer in Ca. had a Beaver front end it was nice on the inside I haven't seen that one around in the last few years he came too the Mak gathering all the time. You should see the engine compartment all the chrome and brass in it.

Alan

Very difficult to guess what it will go for. You have been a member here long enough to have half an idea and you will likely be at the auction, since you are not that far away.
My recomendation would be to have a firm limit as to how high you will go, and hope for the best. As the saying goes "there is allways another bus"

Joe.

Price will depend on how many show up that are interested in it & how deep their pockets are.

If someone were to buy this one, they would do well to try to get all the spare parts for it that are there too.
