Installing 3 Roof A/C, and wondered if anyone has used foam board to construct their ducting. How does it hold up, and is there any condensation problems on the outside of the duct like you have with the steel ducting. Woody. |

I would use the fiberglass lined "cut to size" duct work. NO condensation and great sound absobing qualities. 3 roof units? Do you want to see your breath in August? Cool! smoke,rattle&,stink.....docdezl |

I have three roof AC's (15,000 BTU) and used sheet metal ducting. Home Depot (for one) sells ducting insulation that you just wrap around the ducting and tape up. --Geoff '82 RTS CA |
