I have a very awkward accelerator pedal and would like to replace it. My treadle valve (brake pedal) is just like that of any other coach: large, hinged on the floor, and easy to find with my foot. But my accelerator is a tiny little awkward thing, and is about the same as the one in my car! I have seen plenty of other buses (school buses and coaches) whose accelerator pedal is nearly identical to the treadle valve. Can this small, awkward pedal be replaced with the larger type? If so, does anyone know of a good source? Marc 1991 Blue Bird TC2000 (former skoolie) |

A pedal from a Freightliner C/O or Binder C/O would be suitible donors. Good travel and nice "angle of the dangle". Making sure you have enough room over, under&,around the pedal that your foot, floor mat, bedroom sliper, ect, ect, ect can't incumber the pedal in any fashion. smoke,rattle&,stink......docdezl |
