how can i test the sensor to see if it is the reason my honda generator is not staying on?
i was thinking i could cross the wires?

Tom,

If the generator starts, then stops as soon as you release the start button, it is probably due to a low oil indication. You can cross the wires and see if it continues to run, but do you know if the problem is a faulty sensor, or true low oil pressure??????
