It looks as he fabricated it himself and I am cannot weld. I was looking for something already built. |

No welding needed, just a lot of drilling & bolting & a tiny bit of sawing. The welding has all been done...on the legs/feet. But it's not a job for those w/o power tools, a helper & the space to perform the task. Take a look in your GRAINGER catalogue, they have something for about a grand that approximates what I did. |

ChinStrap Penguins want you to believe they are friendly, they lure you in with cooing and "come hither" motions, then when you are a few inches away from them THEY BITE LIKE HELLFIRE ...while their mate cackles like a chicken at your foolishness. According to the Leopard Seals, (one must be really drunk to understand them) Penguins are good & wonderful little birds.... FOR EATING!! They only stayed still for this photo because my assistant was hold a Shrimp from a fishing pole over their heads..... (another lie) Penguins don't make friends..... they make gallons of stinky-slippery poop. (the real truth) |

Joe, that's a beautiful job -- I'm going to bet that that's a fine place to catch breezes as the sun sets and you're enjoying a cool adult beverage at the end of a day. One question -- I see how the rails fold down but what's the arrangement for folding/stowing the ladder rails at the top? |

The ladder is 3 piece and stows in the bay. It needs a dumb waiter to get the adult beverages top side. I did not fab it it was purchased by the original converter for instalation. If I do not get rid of it before I get solar panels I will keep it, the panels will mount up in the railings pretty nicley. |
