OK, next question. We want a safe, secure, lockable (and unlockable) from both the inside and out deadbolt type lock on the door. Any ideas? Include brands, model # if known. Also, we are travelling through West Texas, and a couple of days ago our 4108's starter stopped starting. We were able to roll start it to get to our destination, which was Odessa. Today we went to J&J Engine Repair. They found the problem quickly, and stopped what they were working on to help get us back on the road again as soon as possible. They sure were friendly, caring, skilled, and very resonably priced. So, if you ever get stranded in W. Texas, look them up!

I posted an article at:

http://users.cwnet.com/~thall/FAST%20FRED.htm

that shows a strong lockable unit as used in over the road trucks.

No need for a dead bolt , it would take a big crowbar to get this open, and it releases with the inside handle , just as a car does.

Lockable from inside or out , key entry.
Only one step to exit in an emergency.

There is a choice in using the inside release latch , one pulls up to release , a different one could pull down.

The parts list is for the deep pockets that go to the New bin at the truck store, the photo is for the junk yard pickers.

Have it Your Way,But BE Safe!
