Help! This time we are not asking questions about the MC-9. This question is for the 4108. The manual calls for Front: Delco/GMC #3192416 and the Rear: Delco/GMC #3182842. We have called several places, only to find out that those numbers have been discontuned. Some say we are up a creek, others say that the Monroe 74402 for the front and Monroe 65440 for the rear will work, BUT are special order and will take a week to arrive. Problem is: we are traveling, and have a tight schedule. Will these shocks work? Are there any others? And, any clue where one might find them in the Lubbuck - Amarillo, TX area? Thanks! |

my folks just put new shocks on his 08....they were redily available
you might call a bus company and ask
or email my dad...he may know

I don't have a Monroe catalog but the Gabriel catalog crosses the 3192416 to their 85711 which has an extended length of 24.58", compressed 13.33" a 1' eye on one end and a 5/8" stud on the other. It crosses to the 74402 Monroe.
The 318242 crosses to 87000 Gabriel which is 24.46" extended, 15.21" compressed with 1" eyes on both ends. There is no cross to Monroe.

If you have the GM Parts Manual numbers for the correct shocks, then call Mohawk Mfg. at:800-323-7652. Canadian made Gabriels, overnite UPS if needed, and about $35.00 each. NAPA can get them too, but at $79.95 ea. HTH Cheers...JJ |
