Am near Palestine Tx. Left rear brake will NOT release, right wheel has dug a hole in soft sand...., have called tow service.
What valve in the air system is sticking, not allowing the left wheel brake to release? the compressor makes 120/125 psi,I (release) depress yellow brake Park release, make 100 psi treadle application...right tire rolls/spins,left drags....
1978 Eagle.
Need advice.phone 817 776 0440

wait till compressor kicks out at 120/125 psi and then try full brake pedal application. Sometimes 100 psi won't cut it. Other trick would be to adjust gov pressure up to 135 and try that. Lower cut out pressure after you try it. If you can get it released; you may want to service the DD3's; at least the rollers and rod, associated parts. They may be dry or corroded. Don't want to sound stupid, but you are sure that it is a sticking brake and not that the wheel with the least traction is spinning? Thought I should mention it just in case. If you don't have DD3's, then this suggestion won't help. You may also have a leaking diaphragm that won't allow enough pressure to release rollers.

Don, We're in Abilene, stop by if you get the chance.

Let us know what happened and how you got it fixed. Do you have DD's or Spring Brake cans?

Maybe you could make it to our Texas Bus Roundup this year and we could kick a tire or two inbetween cold beverages.

Talked to Donald and the problem is a hose going to the DD3 brake chamber has a leak.
He is enroute to Palestine,Texas to have a hose made and a metal bracket re welded.
I was able to provide him with local information for the hose replacement shop and a local welding shop.
