Hi folks, Well, sadly, Maisie & I couldn't get across the US border from Canada because our personal papers weren't quite in order. Therefore, our 3 week vacation through a dozen States, including stops in Peach Springs, AZ, for the Bus Conversions Gathering, and in Chicago, IL, to visit the Baha'i House of Worship are officially scratched! We were so looking forward to meeting lots of you and we look forward to doing so at a time when life and times are substantially less chaotic. Maisie & I always think of things as happening for a good reason and, perhaps war and SARS are reason enough to stay put for now. At the Gathering in AZ, BNO was to share a commercial display booth with Dave & Roberta Galey and George & Sue Myers. Our booth is named Conversion Information Central, and I would encourage you to make plans to drop in to visit our booth if you are going to the Gathering. Combined, Dave and George have likely got most conversion topics covered and most conversion questions answered - especially for the new or newer conversion hobbyist. And you will never be faulted for having a couple of hundred dollars worth of their publications in your library, because you will save tenfold that in repairs and/or aggravation in the future if you have their references at your fingertips. It is a privilege to be associated with these gentlemen and their wives and I am very proud to host some of the published works of these two, on BNO. We'll miss having not gotten together with them. Mostly, we'll miss meeting some of the many viewers to this web site and we're sorry that we will not have the great honour to see you, face to face, to renew acquaintances and to put new faces to names. This is what we will miss the most. But... another time, for sure. And soon, too, we hope. Because our numbers are few and we are family and we must stick together. Meantime, thank you all for continuing to make BNO your stopping spot on the Internet for information about this great hobby of ours. See you soon! Warmest best wishes to you all. Ian, Sorry to hear you had to cancel your vacation. As you said, everything seems to happen for a reason. Perhaps the world will be less "chaotic" and you can join us for Bussin' 2004 in January, 2004. Jack |

Ian, Sorry also to hear of this misfortunate feature of travel. I, along with many others wish you the best, (even tho you won't be 'in town' so to speak) and thanks for the great forum we all enjoy..... SLO |
