My Pain your Gain Price Reduced need the space
1967 GMC 4502 Bus / Dukes Conversion from the 80's has all the ammenities , Fridge , Stove, Furnace, Hot Water, 3 Piece Bathroom, rear bedroom, Mid kitchen, Forward Living room newer linenoleum flooring some newer small appliances available.
Bus has 12 volt and 110 Volt electrical system with a 30 AMP converter, complete water system with holding tanks for fresh and waste water. 55gals each
Chassis has GMC 6-71 GMC/Detroit Diesel with 4 speed standard transmission, Good tires , Brakes and Steering. Drives well, has really tight air system with air bag suspension. Very little corrosion underneath, spent the last few winters in the south. The engine and transmission were major overhauled approx. 60,000 miles ago have records and bills to prove, also have the service and parts manuals. The Bus carries about 90 Gals of fuel and gets about 10 Miles / gallon.
Pictures are a couple of years old the exterior paint needs work total mileage is unknown. This is actually a relatively rare Bus as there were only 217 built. The 35ft is much more maneuverable than the longer units turning radius is about 40ft.
The bus is currently located on Highway 17 East approx 10kms east of North Bay
Price is $6500.00 or would consider trade for 5th wheel/ travel trailer 26-28 ft/2500 series pick-up.

Dan, the SDM-4502 should be a good bus. The company I drove for had a SDM-4501 that would really step out. The Suburban model (the "S" in SDM (Suburban, Diesel, Manual Transmission), has underfloor baggage bays, helpful in a conversion. It'd be interesting to see how they dealt with the raised floor-depressed aisle inside.

Although they say it's rare, it's a contemporary of the TDH-4519 (2360 built), and TDH 5303 & 5304 (over 9000 built). Total production of this, second generation Fishbowl, was 13,651. That should help with parts availability (my first thought when I see a low production number of anything.)

The thing I remember about the 4519 was cracking/fatigue in the engine bulkhead. You might take a good look, make sure the bulkhead is ok. On the other hand, Suburbans typically didn't take the beating that transits did, so she's likely suffered less physical abuse.

If the 4502 is like the Gm Highway coaches (and I think it is) it won't like a lot of weight on the hook. It's not so much the amount being towed as the weight on the hook, Gms just can't handle it due to how they are structured. That being said, my bus (6-71) has no trouble hauling my van, but as the van is rolling 4 down, there is no tongue weight, just pulling.
