Does any body out there, know which side is the pressure side and which is the return of the sheppard steering box? I am about ready to put in the fuid, and don't want to make a mess. I don't know if this makes any difference, but the sheppard box came off of a 4509 and is install in a 4106. Thanks in advance to all.

Al on most hyd. systems the big hose is the return so that it can be non restricted due to the size of the hose, as once it has gone through what ever you are operating you want less resistande to the oil flow from that point .it might be the same with yours..mel 4104

When I changed to sheppard on our 4106 from the orginal vickers systems the lines had two different size of fittings. Guess what, so did the sheppard so all I had to do was put them back on where they fit.
