Has anyone out there had any experiance with ALGAE-X or any other fuel conditioners? What are your thoughts, pro or con about any of them?

I never go without it!
I bought some BioGuard at West Marine last week, 1/2 oz per 60 gallons but it is $17.99 a quart... this time they had a $5 rebate

What about the magnetic things? ALGAE-X has some good sounding results & testomonials, but are they real world?

In the boating world those magnetic things are considered a joke...
go to http://www.westmarine.com/ and search on BioGuard ... popularly reguarded as a viable working product. Saw a demo at a clun meeting, it realy works
