I've done a search of the archives, but I can't find a specific answer: Where can I buy a 'kit' to convert my 1981 MC9 air wipers to electric w/ intermitent feature? Thanks! |

BTW..although everyone swears by it, RainX will cause wipers to have a tendency to stall when they change direction. I discovered this several years ago on my vehicles. It makes car wipers noisier when changing direction, but motor has more reserve power to deal with it. Just makes some increased noise. |

BTW, they make intermittant kits for air wipers. |

Yes, Jim Bob! Where can I get an intermittant kit for the air wipers? I found a site (Autex) that sells electric conversions for $800! Maybe new or rebuilt air motors and an intermittant kit will be a less expensive solution. Also, where can I get 'quality' rebuilt or new air wiper motors? How much should I expect to pay for good ones? Also, should I consider replacing the wiper switches also? Problem: Passenger side is very sluggish and gets stuck easily and on the driver side, the wiper won't 'park' itself and the base of the blade hits against the outside edge of the surround of the windshield. Driver side will get stuck also. regards, |

If your coach has an air drier, there may be a need for an inline air lubricator for the wiper motors to keep them working nice. Can't hurt to use one anyway. Most parts stores carry these for air tools. |

Try this link re: delay air wipers. https://www.busconversions.com/bbs/index.php?topic=15274.15 I have seen delay air wipers. They had an extra knob too. But I don't know who made 'em. But I sure trust RJ if he says someone does. |
