So we have replaced the kitchen, Bath, made and installed cabinets for the bedroom, Sent the couch out for re-doing the fabric. Installed the Air horns, Made beds for the cats that hang from the ceiling (the beds not the cats). Installed air ride seats, Checked for air leaks of all kinds Gas,fuel, air. Checked brakes.Still have to change filters and oil.She hasn't been out in 5 months, so this morning we started her up and let her rise. We drove her around with a litter smoke which would clear after letting off the peddle. It would come back a little when pushed down to take off. Brakes worked great. Motor ran smooth, Transmission shifted great. We were laughing like a couple of kids. Drove by friends house at 7 AM and honked the air horns and watched as they came out waving and laughing. It came up to temperature 190 nicely and stayed there.A great time was had by all. Sometime in or around November or October we will leave our house and go full time so want to be ready. So far so good. Dave |

Good for you folks, Dave! I know you must both be pleased (don't want to speak for the cats...most I am familiar with don't care for vehicles, for whatever reason). Life is a real "experience". Enjoy it and see lotsa new stuff and places. Be sure to take the LORD with you! (Micah 6:8) RCB |

Can you post pics of the cat beds? That sounds like an interesting idea. We have 3 cats and plan to go full time in a year or so. We're still trying to figure out where to put cat boxes and where they'll hang out while we're runnin' down the road. |

Our 2 cat's beds are "wherever they decide to lay down". LOL While traveling down the road, they usually lay on the sofa or one of the chairs. This trip, we have been on the road for 5 months so far and our cats just take it in stride. They act no different than when at home. I would also like to see your hanging cat beds. Jack |

Here ya go. I turned over a shoe rack I had leftover from a closet job. I strapped it to the bottom on the Valance with 1/4 pipe straps. Screwed in 2 plant holders to the ceiling plywood through the Heavy vinyl into the ply. Put a slant board off top of back of couch going up to the bed and strapped it at the top to the bed so it can swing up when we have guests. Not in the picture ad also now has ply in the bottom I wrapped with carpet. They love it. We have 3 Rag Dolls, they are like dogs. They fetch and chase balls and will follow you anywhere. They are our babies and they will go with us. Not to keen on the engine noise yet but we take them out each day and are getting them used to it.

Jack, They seem to like it, You know if you have Cats they like to be above everything. In building the coach and it being 35 feet we ran out of room and didn't know where, other than the couch or bed they would be. So I was going to make a shelf there and then it hit me when I moved the rack in the garage and turned it over. That light went on. We also built flat window sills and covered them with carpet also and they can sit by the windows. I screwed those with 1 inch self tapping screws to the top of the window releases so they can still be lifted for emergencies if needed. Dave |
