He Hee, I suppose I shocked some readers with that subject, however, at the dump I work at, you practically have to have reservations just to have vacation at a certain time of the year. (and trust me, they try to make you work your reg days off DURING vacation week. OK, now that we know the why for the very early question, HEY JACK, do you have any idea when it might be held. I plan to travel with a friend and they also need to plan things out.
I suppose we can drive in (by car) for the day(let me know if not). Is there any day better than another to stop in and say howdy or is every day the best time? I was in high hopes to have the bus ready by November but, as usual, something comes up, thanks to the City beaurocracy, they demand changes on my property, and I have lost the ability to park any type camping vehicle on the property due to recently administered ordanances. So the costs of complying to their "RECOMMENDED" changes have pushed the bus back. Thus, I plan to drive in from WaltDisneyWorld, my second home, and spend the day. I think the drive is only an hour or two. Also, are pets allowed to join in? My Greyhound is like my child and wants to be part of the activities.
If Bad goes to worse, I can always attend the next on in 2005, should there be one.
THANK YOU one and all for putting up with this notice, but the alternative is to wait and possibley not even have a chance to go and since you all have made it sound like a very good time, I would like to at least see the event.

Cory and anyone else who needs to plan ahead,
Bussin' 2004 will be held Thursday, Jan. 1 through Sunday, Jan. 4 at Horizon Coach in Arcadia, Florida. We will post additional information in September, when we start finalizing all the details.
Everyone is welcome to attend for the weekend or stop by for a day or two. If you are not able to attend all weekend, Friday or Saturday would probably be the best days to attend. We consider Thursday "Arrival Day" although many will start arriving on Monday, December 29. Sunday is "Departure Day" and many will start leaving Sunday AM.
Pets are welcome, we only ask that they be kept on leashes and any "deposits" left by pets be picked up.
Drive from Orlando is about 1 1/2-2 hours. Jack |
