A friend of a friend just got a whole soda "cleaning" set-up. By saying Soda "blasting" the insurance is like triple. Anyway he says that the soda will polish the stainless. What do you think? Can the fiberglass caps be soda blasted? I know I want to tape off the existing windshield although it will be replaced. And the new windows are not yet cut out. I think I am going to take out the air filter and block off the intake and then reinstall it and cover.

Soda blasting can be done on any surface, BUT will not POLISH the stainless as you ask. It will take the paint off, but will lwave a soft "frosted" appearance. Try a small inconspicuous spot first. ...JJ
