For those in the Southern Ontario area:

A bunch of ex-Toronto Transit Commission New Flyers have been towed up to the wreckers in Port Perry over the last two weeks or so.

they are 1990's D40-90 models

There has been some canabolizing done prior to towing, but mainly a few drivetrains and the AC units to keep the remaining units mobile until later in the year, when they will be surplused too.

L10 Cummins hooked up to V730 trannies, belt drive oil cooled alternators, tilt/telescopic steering columns, vanner battery equalizers, turn signal fixtures, flourescent lighting, tons of modern circuit breakers, twin 12/24 battery disconnects, kneeling system for front suspension, lots of bits and pieces.

Same place as those RTS on the BNO homepage.

Hope this info is of interest to someone.
I have no business interest involved.
Used to teach folks how to drive 'em!

happy coaching!
