I hope those guys don't liquidate MCI that would be a shame but holding Co's are in it for the bucks. I have been following these bus manufacture If Scania doesn't make a deal with Volvo for Prevost they will own MCI bet you guys a cold one on that and they are getting close or Scania would have stayed in the hunt for MCI. Volvo is losing big bucks on Prevost with conversions in the tank now |

steady, boys, steady. MCI has had more owners over the course of its history than a dog has fleas. In the current conditions, MCI was sitting pretty for the next group to take it over, recapitalize and wait for the value to recover to make the investment worthwhile. As noted, same thing going on over at Prevost, and many other companies in the manufacturing sector. Buy low, sell high, get out when your accountant says jump? happy coaching! buswarrior |

Don't get too excited. Remember, GM stopped building intercity models in early 80's and most parts are still available, although some are harder to come by than others. I'd start to worry in about another 20 to 30 years. |
