Mike, you can get the rubber hinges from Luke @ u.s. coach. ph.856 767-4848. Sometime(most) are a bear ti install . Call me at 9035304497 and I'll give you some pointers. If it is a bus you are going to keep, try to find the "Bonney's bison tuff hinges. They won't break. |

Call Stuart Bonney at Umatilla Buffalo Ranch P.O. Box 302 Hermiston, OR 97838 (541) 567-2833 $6.00 per foot for 1 & 1/4 inch material, this gives you a tiny bit of extra width. (Message edited by Jack Fids on October 05, 2010) |

Ok. thanks guys, it seems the aluminum piece of the hinge that extends the length of the door is bent and it keeps the top of the door from closing flush with body. Its this piece I need I believe. |

I just did another one of mine yesterday. I doubt the rail is bent, it just looks like that when the hinge begins to seperate. I use the stainless ones, the rubber type just don't last.Call Ed at 828 248 3087. His stainless hinges are great, inexpensive, and easy to install. |

the rubber type just don't last The rubber is good for 12 to 15 years , the challenge is to NOT purchase 12year old NOS and install it. The suplyer is important. FF |

Hi Mike & Folks: The Inner door panels on the 4107/8 & 4903/5's will warp over time and will cause the original rubber hinge to rip almost immmediately upon installation. The fix is to remove the inner panel and take it to a machine or body shop with a long "Metal Break", and have it straightened. If that is not possible, replacement inner panels are avilable used. I Hope this HELPS!!! Happy & SAFE!! Bussin' to All. LUKE at US COACH 888-262-2434 |

AH HA! Finally someone has a handle on why hinges fail so quickly! Luke has to be one of THE most knowledgeable people on the planet when it comes to GM Coaches, that & his unequaled commitment to keeping the big coaches running & reliable make him THE "go to Guy" for people like us. Now if he could only shed some light on why my "Heater Bay" door goes thru hinge like a baby thru diapers.... (it's not large enough to warp like those hangers doors on a 4903-5 & 4107-8) I'd be the happiest guy on my block! |

Hi Luke o Thanks for the info. I just went today o do some work on her and now the other bay door hinge broke from the wind catching the door. Now i need to do both the passenger side doors. Im sure the 2 doors got used the most back in the day, so its no wonder the hinges are shot. I will need some pointers for installation when i get them . If someone can help me , i would appreciate it. Thanks |

with the stainless steel hinges it won't matter if the inner panel is not straight |

Ed The hinges you sell worked great for my friend Joe on his 4107. No more broken hinges for him. Bill |
