Let's see...300amps is a 5/16 rod to weld 3/4" or thicker plate. Hell fellas, on 120VAC you'd burn the bearings out in your electric meter real quick. At 15 cents per KW, that's almost $20 bucks an hour to feed it!!!!! It would have to be on a fuse, since they don't make a 120V breaker that big. Probably pulls 120 to 150Amps at 120V. Whew, wait 'til you see a non-quartz filled fuse that big blow on a short. Goes like a stick of dynamite!!!!! ...JJ |
