My 8 has no horns. There is a horn relay in the drivers electrical compartment and I have a foot button several inches back from the dimmer foot switch on the left floor but it seems to go to nothing. I assume that I should have two horns. One on the steering wheel for an electric horn, and the foot switch is to control an air horn... is the right?

On my 4905, the air horn was controlled by a foot valve that was not electric but air... it was hard to push, but did work. So is the MCI an air over electric air horn?

Fill me in here someone, please.

My foot switch located in same place on MCI102D3 operates air horn located in same place as electric horn and washer fluid tank. Electric does not work on mine probably full of sand.

You should have a ground wire coming up through the steering column connected at the back to a screw at one end and in the steering wheel to the buttons at each side of it. Goes down through a Horn relay to the electric 12 volt or 24 volt depending what you have, horns on the front left corner of your tool compartment under the driver area.

The foot button just left of the driver seat on the floor is for the Air horns which should be located in the same tool compartment next to the power steering oil trough on a bracket and are visible as soon as you open it up if they are there. Should be an air hose 1/4" going to it from the button. Shows in the Parts Book

I have no horns of either type. Looks like all has been removed. Maybe a call to Luke is in order to see if he has any donor horns I can buy.
