The left wiper on my MC8 slammed the windshield molding every time it swung left. The PO never fixed it and it had started to beat up the molding. I called Luke and ordered a rebuild kit. Rebuilt it today and reinstalled it... more work getting it in and out than the actual rebuild. Lots of rusty screws. But it works and once the arm was properly positioned, it no longer slams the left edge. I now have wipers.

The instructions in the book could be a bit more specific but it was doable. Maybe we were just lucky. Gota luv a success story.

Sometimes a spray in the inlet to the units with your favorite lubricant will help balky units.

I installed new bushings, and yes screws/bolts were the biggest problem, did both sides, only lubed the motors. Did not need motor parts. To me is was easy.
