hey Joe If you go back several threads you will find another one on how to set up multiple batteries in banks and it started with the same link you found and posted today. It garnered some lively debate and answered some good questions for me. Most of the electrical gurus from this board pitched in the old two cents worth and made it all clear. Have a look. It is titled Battery selection Les |

We all face 2 kinds of decisions in the construction & maintenance of these coaches, Objective & Subjective...perhaps needs vs wants provides an equal perspective. We've seen repeated questions on basic subjects, I think the reason is the companion URL's (Arnies,AOI & the Archives) might need yet another partner....with a name like "Carved in Stone" or " the Rules we've Discovered".. A place where Battery/Plumbing/electrical/lighting/layout "laws" are spelled out. How to support your bus for service, build a battery bank or tray. Basic stuff, some of which can be found in Da Book & a lot , not. Doing a search has become cumbersome on occasion in my experience in looking for an answer that I'd read years ago. It should have been "Carved in Stone" titled (for example) "Which side to dump blackwater from". Another user option for easier basic topic reference to eliminate queries concerning subjects of a repetitive nature. We could actually build the file ourselves by just bringing the topic to Ian's attention for addition to the file....we all see & recognize these questions so it's an easy task to jst write THIS ought to be carved in stone....in the thread, a consensus will support the proposal & bingo, another "Do it THIS way or suffer THESE consequences" is added... . . Anyone else see this as pertinent or valid...? Ian? |
