You can open the filler cap and look in the surge tank.

The "book" method is to open the level valve, if fluid flows, you're OK, if not, add coolant.

Thomas -

The surge tank access is located behind the air intake grill on the driver's side rear corner of the coach. That grill is actually a door, pull on the RH side of it as you're facing the coach and it should open.

If the level's correct, you should be able to feel it just below the fill spout when you insert a finger. (Do it cold!) Any more than that and the coach will spit it out the overflow as it comes up to operating temp.

FWIW & HTH. . .

In normal operation just below or at 180F is normal.

Could be no thermostat or crappy instruments or a poor instrument ground.

What does the oil pressure read , same ground?

A heat reading gun , will tell if its the instrument , or some PO forgot the thermostat.
