I have a problem with a 7.5 JB=3CR. Its an older unit howerver has very low hours on it . I put it in my 4106. I had to take the voltage reg. off to check the starter solonid, while i was checking it the reg. fell pulling the four wires loose. PROBLEM;; i have no idea how they go back the service manual I have showes four wires comming from the gen.to the board . NO COLOR CODE two are yellow and two are black the connects are marked 1 2 f-1 &f-2 f1 and 2 are field leads the other two are from the gen. housing Can any one tell me what post these wires in order. I think NC Bob on here maybe able to help. Also get the serial # that helps. I have called Cummins, they own Onan, and they e-mailed me parts manuals, they maybe of some help on wireing also. |

Thanks Ralph I used to work with a Ralph Peters in NC The service manual i have is just bearly better than nothing and the cummins people around here will not tell you a thing. They wanted 900.00 for a coil (nothing would work but thiers) after a mounth hunting i gave 20.00 for a used one they said wouldn't work on my unit. cranked up ran perfict. but I bitch too much The model # 7.5 JB-3CR/17031 AA seriel #E76o1-32319 All help would be great trying to this job done before weather gets to bad. Hopeing to get every thing done before April in SC. Thanks Tony |

Paul:: that is a great site I found out more in just a few minutes than from cummins onan in 4 years thanks busnuts with onans need to keep this site some where.Tony |
