Probably a tank/city waer switching manifold. Red /hot-blue/cold. Sounds like some of D.G'sB.S. to me. jj |

March 24, 2001 There are some lovely manifolds made for commercial RVs. They have valves drilled into an anodized aluminum bar with fittings going off for each fixture line. They mount side by side with one color coded for hot and one color coded for cold. The manufacturers will not sell these retail. They are custom made for a run of a particular model RV. I have a variety of sources for RV parts, but none of them carry the manifolds. Flair-It sells a special tee that designed to be screwed together to make a manifold with one fitting into the next. You can also make one out of tees and valves using pipe or copper. You might try the parts department of an RV dealer that sells large RVs. Find one in a unit and order a replacement. Take a lot of money when you do. See the February "Fresh Water Systems" in the February 2001 Bus Conversions for a discussion on manifold, and other, distribution systems.
