What kind of prices are out there for used 24.5" Alcoas? Anybody bought some lately? What condition?

I paid $150 ea for mine and $200 for the set of 6 to get them polished. What really cost me was buying and replacing 40 studs. Ouch!!! Oh well, it's only money ;)

Thanks David,
Come on now guys. Is David the only one who has bought used Alcoas? Need input here. Looking at some that need LOTS of polishing, trying to figure out if it's a deal or not.

Well Jim-Bob, Mine were already on the bus when I bought and he was going to remove them and I offered $50 apiece for six and they did need polishing, but they were 22.5 alcoa rims, straight and true but did need polish. Bought in San Antonio and I considered them a good deal.

thanks Jimmie in the sticks

I gave $150 each for my 6 used ones, that seemed to be the going price then most everywhere for used ones. They needed polishing real bad.

I paid $150. ea at a Big truck salvage yard. I also paid $50. ea to have them polished. They are 22.5 pilot stud to fit MCI-8. They look great. The wheels looked rough & were sand blasted before polishing. They now look new! The studs cost me$500.

Hey Ray, you probably did NOT need new studs, only Alcoa style nuts for your current studs.
