That bus is only an hour from me. I emailed him last night and he is sending more pics, as I have a couple Buds who love my '04 enough to want one, but no money is involved with dreaming. I'd like it for the wheels & tires, but that ain't gonna happen.

So...if there is any interst by any of you, I could forward the pics to you and any other info he sends along. I will take a ride to check it out if need be.

Take a lesson from the seller. Unless you get a great deal, or intend to steel tent for a while, don't spend money on tires and batteries until you are ready to roll.

Many people underestimate how long a project like this will take and the tires/batteries have aged out before you get any use out of them.

So true, Len...

I'll be needing tires when we start long distance running, but they are Ok for now. Old yes, and a couple of them are "transit tires...not to exceed 55mph". I did have the '04 up to 65 once, with my wife following me (no speedo on the '04...but I do have a Hubodometer for mileage)

I did buy 2 8D's 3 years ago since we do take roadtrips. Only bought 1 deep cycle though, as I figured it would be junk by the time I got things rewired and new stuff installed. Hopefully next summer we will be on the road for some distance...(Momma retires in June). I'm a self employed woodbutcher so I can go anywhere anytime.
