Just thought I would post my annuel warning for 04 owners.
Be sure to check the fan hub mounted directly to the crank shaft, if it moves even a little replace it asap. If it lets go say bye bye to your radiator. It's has a rubber inner sleve that dries out after time. Cost me a bundle on the road,and I did all my own work. |

Thanks Bob good to have the heads up.
Also I haveheard of the bolt coming loose and damaging the radiator.I also inspect my vibration damper for play.Worth a monthly check in thi area.

Same thing happened to my friend a few months ago. Talk about luck, the first guy along happened to have an 04 in progress, and loaned him a fan and his new radiator to get home on! They seem to give out without a lot of noisy warnings. |
