I am looking for information on where I maybe able to obtain, air bellows, rings and bolts along with radius rod bushings for my 1965 MCI 5a. I want to replace all this winter, so my suspension is ready in the spring.

Support the guy who supports us here with sage info
& who seems to always have not only the right part
but the time & inclination to explain how to install it right.....
Luke!
I just removed myself from the classic car restoration & maintenance world, people would complain that prices were continually rising on parts from the specialty suppliers & would niggle over small increases like the companies owner was getting rich.
Several of those people who OWNED the supplier companies who had gotten up there in years have retired & closed the Biz....
NOW those same people who whined about a few extra bucks are whining LOUDER because there is NO ONE to supply them with parts any longer!

Being pennywise AND pound foolish can have far reaching circumstances.

Not to take Derrick to task here...
but I'd rather spend the extra $30 with Luke & get an Akron made air bag that to have the extra $30 in my pocket & my life dependent on a Chinese made bag any day of the week.

I agree completly as Luke does the really heavy lifting for the bus folks.
Sure a cheap comodity item might be less costly , tho "you get what you pay for" also is a concern with so much Chinese garbage.

But when it comes to the hard stuff , Only Luke is willing to do the sourcing sometimes many hours for a small, BUT NECESSARY! part.

He has even had manufactured parts for the GM folks, a huge expense , and risk, as how many GM splined steering shafts (as an example) do you think gets sold in a year?

Supporting the guy that supports us makes sense to me!

Great point.

Folks, there is a sea change upon us in the old vehicle hobby/business.

For lots of reasons, the internet, getting old, the economy, the kids aren't interested in either the business or the vehicles, poor business practices, ever rising rents in urban areas, zoning interference...

The places to buy parts/get info for our old rides, no matter the kind, are closing down all over the place.

And it is business that effectively lobbies the government when strange regulations are being considered, not individual consumers like us.

oh dear?

happy coaching!

The board is here to share ideas and concepts, there is no WRONG! , just different thoughts about similar experiences.

DO IT Your Way!

Has been the motto for a very long time.
