I was asked by the folks who own this bus if I had any way to get info on the history of this bus?????
I know that others have posted the same question for other GM busses and someone out there has a history book or site for this info.
Anyone help them out?
Ian
Can you check on registration for the board for these people?
Brandee Lamkin
Thanks
Les

I can't help with the VIN's anymore, I lost a bunch of books due to lactating rodent damage!

Ian, could you check on the registration for Robert Lines also?
He's tried a few times and gotten no response.

Thankyou sir in Advance!

I thought that I saw a link posted but I can't find it now.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! tell me you didn't try to milk those "lactating rodents"
That just opens up a whole big can of worms

Les, The link went to Bus Rosters on the Web, and as far as I know, the feller that owned it let the domain name or the hosting expire.

No, I didn't try to get these fat fingers around a mouses teats,I don't even do the milking anymore! I had a difficult time milking gramma's milch cows, they always had basic fertilizer clinging to the tail, which would slap a fella in the face, (only while his mouth was slack and agape!), and the critter would plant a foot in the bucket or better yet, knock me arse over tea kettle.
Nope,no milking for DallyQ. them days is gone!

George, I wasn't messing with Minnie, she was in the process of a divorce, Mickey said she was crazy or something about Goofy!

BTW, Wife is a happy camper if you have dachsies! The mare the morrier!

Check out a website I set up for one of our competitors....

That would be great if they would chime in. I know these folks are very excited to learn as much about the bus as they can. They have just started to strip it out in prep for conversion... Just like little kids at christmas!
They are having fun

Les -

H8H649-059 was delivered new in May of 1979 as fleet number 96 to Olympic Trails Bus Company, based out of Irvington, NJ.

Most charter outfits keep their coaches about 10 -12 years or so, sometimes longer. So this one was probably sold off around 1989, unless the company had financial problems (charter outfits come and go daily), in which case it may have been sold sooner.

Being a coach from the Rust Belt, the owners should check carefully around the rear window, the upper vista windows, and both "D" windows for cancer.

FWIW & HTH. . .

:-)

Thanks Jim.
The link you posted is a cached version from 2009. I've emailed the original owner and asked him if he'd like to move the old site to my servers.
