Hey everyone!  As I said in my "Hey Ya'll" thread, I've set up a weblog for George and Phoenix's progress and travels... He may be the first I've set up with this, but I anticipate that he won't be the last.... I'd like to offer anyone here the same courtesy. I'm setting up WordPress blog pages for those who would like them, as a kind of thank you to all the help and support you all have shown me. I'm in the process of setting up a new domain name for this purpose, and once it's done winding its way through the DNS system and working, I'll start setting up pages for those who want them. I'm not charging anyone here for the service, it's free for you folks. Once I get things rolling, I'll post on BCM and give them the opportunity to speak up for spots as well. If any of you are interested, please let me know. I'll need to know what you want to name your blog? (short name, no spaces). Like, George's page is simply named "phoenix". You can store pictures (up to 2MB in size each) on what I'm offering. It's not much, but it's something that I can do. If there's a big response, please keep in mind that it'll take me a while to get it all set up. Average setup time for each one is anywhere from one to two hours. It's not an automated process, it's all manual. heh. Anyway, there it is. The new site is live... I've gone ahead and updated the link in the previous post with the new site. I think it's rather creative since "blogthis.---" was taken.... So, if anyone's interested.... the new domain is online and ready to go. -Mac | ||

Mac... Haven't got there yet and it too late tonight. BUT it's great idea and a generous offering Now hopefully people will take advantage of it and use it to enrich themselves & the rest of us ! One problem... opening the show by putting the Martinez act on first is like opening the Milkyway with a blackhole... you want to be drawing the crowd in not driving them away! ;) | ||

Nellie.. Thanks. I posted the first entry for George just to get an opening post up there. I made a few tweaks for him as well. Want a space of your own? --- Jack... lol... Well, you have to realize I have something personally invested with George and Phoenix... After all, she was my pride and joy before she became his. ^.^ I'm delighted with the progress he's making and can't wait to see the old girl when he comes through in January... As for the black hole opening the Milky Way... What's to say one didn't? After all... Nobody REALLY knows what lies at the center of the galaxy... Hell, they aren't even really sure WHAT the galaxy looks like if looked at from top or bottom... All we see it from are the sides, within one of the spirals... They're just making an "educated" guess... but a guess, all the same! Besides... I rather like George. So... want me to hook ya up? Which reminds me... I'm not setting up USER accounts on these... You'll have full administrative control.... Which means... You have to be really extra careful about what configuration changes you make... Change the wrong thing, and your site (not anyone elses) goes down... So, if ya sign up... Please be careful. -Mac | ||

Macgyver What a great idea! I am not the most computer literate guy but have often wanted some way to chronicle our conversion and coach adventures but didn't have the slightest idea on how to go about it. I started to do it on a different bus site but unfortunately the site folded... Very sorry to see route 66 gone. This might get me out of the pencil scratches that I call writing and into the present century as far as keeping a log. Thanks again. When you are ready, count me in Les | ||

Les, just let me know what you want to call your blog... I can get it set up for ya. Anyone that wants one, just shoot me an email with what you want to call your site, and I'll get it taken care of.
