On my MC9, we removed the seat tracks, pulled up the old floor and put down 3/4 T&G Advantech. We glued it with urethane adhesive and screwed it down with wafer screws.

Advantech never heard of it I take it is some sort of plywood. On the mc7 I have a dropped center aisle<but I dont think that should make any difference. What did you use for insulation. This is my first coach and can use all the help I can get.

The other thing is I dont know if the seat supports on the 7 are structural or not when I took the first one out I found a metal strip that is behind the support and I dont know if is too.

I can't help with the seat supports. In the 9 the seat rails are just welded to the floor and bolted to the wall. Definitely non-structural. I've never seen a 7 gutted.

Advantech is used for subfloors in houses. It has a 50 year guarantee. I left a sheet of it out in the weather for over a year and it did not warp or come apart. It looks like partical poard, but that's where the similarity ends. It is tounge and groove so it lays down nice and makes a nice flat floor. Advantech will not warp or delaminate like plywood. Last time I was in Home Depot I saw it there.

Sorry...Forgot that one. I have not insulated yet. I'll probably use some foam under the floor in the bays. The area forward of the front bay is insulated with fiberglass and the area over the engine is not insulated, but the bed is there so I can use foam on top of the floor under the bed.

I thought about sandwiching some foam on top of the floor, but decided I didn't want to give up the head room. If you are doing a roof raise, that may be an option. I did not raise the roof.

After the floor was removed in my 8 I had it steam cleaned and had spray foam installed. it runs from 1-1/2" deep to 8" deep.
