Are you doing a restoration? If you need to know how fast you are going buy a GPS. Much more accurate.

Luke at US Coach sold me a kit for my 4104. Should work on a 4106 also. Reads off the left front wheel. Call him. What can it hurt? 18882622434...Cable

In Pennsylvania, my bus would not pass state inspection requirements without a working speedo. I don't know if a dash mounted GPS would be an acceptable alternative.

How do they know if it's not working? I don't even HAVE a speedo in my '04 and it has never bothered me at all. When we get the ol girl finished, we will be installing a GPS. I do have a Hubodometer to keep track of mileage though.

I have an old Shovelhead Harley and the speedo on that hasn't worked in years. The only check is to the odometer when I get our annual NYS inspection. I actually put almost a mile on the odo every year just to vibration (there's not even a cable anymore). The "inspector" always mentions that..."Wow, drove her almost a mile, eh?" Ha...
