Do the Mc7s only come in one style .Do they all have the skylight windows above the regular ones?

If that's what you have, you have a rare bird. I don't know the numbers but MCI made very few of those scenic coaches. The vast majority of MC-7's just have the regular windows. It's a neat look but an increased headache for converting purposes.

Yes the headaches have begun.Anyone want to trade a 72 mc7 with a leaking detroit for a mc8? We have decided to keep the cruiser windows and the front and rear side windows but we are having a hard time trying to figure out how to build walls and still get insulation in behind them. We cant decide how to secure any sort of secure framework to the walls since you cant attach it to the ceiling without covering the ceiling windows. Anyone have any great ideas for this problem. PS I am on a budget

Thanks Terry Mac

I used a selfdrilling screws (but pre drilled smaller hole) also used wood chipper bit to counter sink phillips flat head screws in home sawen, planned to 3/4 red oak lumber. the lumber is ripped to 4 an1/2 wide. One under windows an above windows,on yours I would use 3inch wide hardwood above small windows an use 3/4 foam above frp white stuff at hd or lowes 24.00-26.00 a 4by8 sheet.I let the fiberglass in the roof an walls. Also I used extension cord (cut off an tin ends} for 120v system also mark them,100ft units an cut to legnth plus a ft. P.S. e-mail me for more on mine

Hi there,
Brewster Transportation here in Calgary had these type of buses for tours through Banff/Jasper Park. It made it easier for tourists to see up to the mountains etc.
