It has come to my attention after after a while of thinking.. That i don't have a clue to what these master bus nuts have. So, i regret i will just be looking in once and a while. Maybe just lurking. I can not bring anything good to the table. Until i do , then will i comment. | ||

I don't have much to offer either Bill...but that's why I'm here. My bus is new to me (2007) and I've learned more here than I ever could have elsewhere. I check in every morning with my coffee. Do a lot of reading and some posting. Of course, some of these techie-Geeks really get into the numbers on how stuff works. Me? Give me the bottom line of what works and what doesn't. I'll make my own screwups from there. I guess I'm thinking that your statement really doesn't make sense to me. If we all knew everything the wizards know, this place would be boring as hell. I love it here...and I'm learning on the fringe. Works for me...hope it will for you. Maybe Ian can set up a section for us know-knots so we can feel smart all the time. Bill DON"T LEAVE US I need all the help I can get to not get hammered to bad by the intellects here on this board LOL I love their ability to help us and others that just have a question from time to time. Some answers don't make sense until I use my hidden gray matter and then the light comes on and I say DUH DUMMY Then I put their knowledge to work and I APPRECIATE THEM all the more.. Bill, The only way to learn is to ask questions. Some of the answers may give you much more information than you wanted and you will have to filter out all the "extra" stuff. But, you will learn a lot. Jack | ||

Amen if you are interested in the bus hobby hang around. I joined this board a full three years before I bought a coach. During that time I asked a lot of questions and soaked up a lot of info. Everone is different, has different knowledge and life skills and they are all usefull to each other whether coach related or not | ||

Thank Dallas I went to give a price to a client for a job he needed done and he told me if I gave him a better price He would give me free doctors care from him. Hey, Gomer.. if you want crazy, I have a client who is having me build him a computer that'll match the Cray. I tried to dissuade him, but there was nothing to be done, so I'm digging up all my old SX386 parts and putting it together! I still have to find a 2Mb 30 pin SIMM all I have are some 8Mb and some 4Mb. | ||

IF there is only ONE thing that you learn here is is to get DA BOOK for your specific bus. Yes its probably $100 or so, but most of the questions you will have are there. Lubricate what? Where? how often? Even if you don't understand 90% of Da Book, whoever is attempting help fix your bus will really be happy you have one . FF | ||

After being mentioned in dispatches twice on this thread, I have spent the last few hours trying to come up with a fast come back to zing both Jack and George.
