Need Help. How hard is it to replace the pulley on a 300A Delco Alternator? Is the shaft/pulley splined, key-way, etc? Do I need to have special tools to change it out? Same question on the pulley on mitre box that runs the alternator? Am an amatuer at all this, so ya'll please be gentle with me (LOL). Also, does anyone have these pulleys in good condition they want to depart with? Any help appreciated.

Buddy, the alternator pulley remove the cotter pin and nut it is splined comes off fairly easy. The pillar box bearing pulley on that side is pressed on with a key you need to remove your bumper corner to get it off it takes a good puller and heat you may be best to remove the pillar box ( 4 bolts) and have it pressed off at a shop.Jefferson is about the only place to get the new pulleys

good luck
